Keohi and Steph in Memphis

Doing the suburban thing...visiting Mom and Dad. The Emporer has been under the weather today, and so the Emporer's mum has had to do lots of nappy changing.
No diaper service here in Memphis, and am thus contemplating the lack of diaper service in Hong Kong. It would seem that would be a good business to start there, but everyone uses cheap labor instead. My brain is tired. I have now started to account for the approximately 100 boxes that I shipped from LA. Now is repacking time for a) Honolulu b) Hong Kong c) Memphis storage and d) yard sale for Mom and Dad. By the time I get to HK I will have spent the better part of 3 months packing, unpacking, and repacking. Mind numbing.

Baby Keohi

Keohi had an exciting day--yelling in Trader Joe's at the balloons. He received a green balloon from the cashier and proceeded to wildly bounce the ball, snapping it back and forth on the ribbon, moving his entire body.
He hung onto the sofa walking back and forth, cruising away. Two visitors today: Auntie Kathy and Auntie Holly. He tried egg yolk--fried. Spit that out. Tried salmon, spit that out.
He loved the tuna melt.
I packed 7 boxes.
Found a notebook of printouts on Afghanistan in 2001. I was clearly obsessed, have since become more removed from the conflict. I could not bring myself to throw it out however, so put it in the freebies box, hoping someone will take the printouts of Al-Ahram Weekly etc... at the yard sale.
I think I will have to pack about 10 boxes a day, and then should be able to approximately meet the deadline 3.13.
Boring blog, but I am tired.

Goal of the Day

To sell my car.

To make my blog more exciting?

This reminds me of a creative writing class when the instructor praised the writing of "dailyness" which is the description of brushing one's teeth, picking one's nose etc...hate to say it, but I have sunk to the Creative Writing 101 level with this blog here.

I fully intend on rebelling from what must be subconscious programming and will post dynamic and exuberant blogs from here on out...
